When Signature Gate is enabled, Schedly holds the booking in a pending-confirmed state and sends the DocuSign envelope immediately. The booking is only fully confirmed — and the calendar invite sent — once DocuSign reports the envelope as completed. This closes the compliance gap that exists when agreements are sent after booking: clients arrive at appointments without signed agreements, professionals chase signatures manually, and the relationship starts on unsteady ground.
